Riny's Grandioso x GC's MSG
This is our very LAST Grandioso
offspring. We lost Grandioso 2
years ago and have retained a few
of his older girls for our
breeding program. This gorgeous
young female is perky, and very
correct. Her dam is one of the
best Maximo daughters we have
ever seen. She has a silver tone
to her fiber just like mom. Fun
to show and a wonderful female
to add to your breeding program.

Barb
and Tom have enjoyed raising llamas for the past 20 years! Showing horses was
Barb's passion as a youngster growing up in rural
Michigan
. Her focus and competitive enthusiasm, over the past several years, has been
directed toward the llama industry. She is the primary leader for 2 llama/alpaca
4-H county projects. Her 'other life' takes her on the road as an independent
representative for 4 electronics and sheet metal manufacturers.
Tom recently retired from 20+ years in management at
Harley-Davidson in
Milwaukee
. He is a hands on partner in the llama business and is presently enjoying his
spare time riding his motorcycle, fishing and pursuing his interest in gun
collecting.
Both Barb and Tom have served the industry over the
years by sitting on local and national llama organization Boards. Presently both
are serving on committees within these organizations.
They have focused their breeding program toward the elegant
suri style llamas and have proven their match making skills with several LFA,
Celebrity and ALSA National Champions over the years. Correct conformation
always comes first. The fiber, style and stretch of the animals seem to
naturally follow. All of their young llamas head into the 4-H program where they
are handled daily. The llamas get equal attention and training so when their
year is completed in the show ring the llamas are totally desensitized and
accustomed to a variety of situations, surroundings and handlers.
Barb and Tom take pride in the llamas they offer for
sale as being well mannered and easily handled.
Animal Acres has established a very diverse base of
strong as well as unique pedigree's in their breeding females. We feel the Dam
lines are equally as important as the Males, maybe even more so. We feel this
foundation of females is what has kept us at the top in the show ring.
