About The Suri Llama
Having fun in the llama industry is a must! Tom and
I have enjoyed venturing into the " Suri Style" of llama for the elegance and beautiful fiber that adorns these animals.
Unique in their  slim stature, the "Suri
Style" llama SHOULD come with a great top line, correct tail set, and perfect movement envied even by the more traditional llama community.
It is important to understand that the term "suri" refers to the style of
the llama's fleece, and in fact, these animals are llamas! Criticism usually
comes from those who are fearful of change and have a lack of
knowledge.
With a keen eye on conformation and strict attention to the integrity of
each llama's pedigree, we feel Animal Acres has acquired and is in the
process of breeding one of the finest group of "Suri Style" llamas in the
country. If you are thinking about acquiring a "Suri", please select carefully.
Animal Acres has several great babies on the ground now and more planned
for the coming year that will be offered for sale. We welcome your inquiries.
Our plan is to continue breeding and showing these beauties right along
side our elegant, traditional llamas. We enjoy them all!
